Quebec City

We’ve had a fun time visiting Europe in North America. A different first language (though pretty much everyone in the tourist part knows English), old stone buildings, a walled city and very different food, and we knew we weren’t home!  The October snow at the end of our trip reminded us we were also in Canada...

Neomi watched a show on the plane’s tv and some Sesame Street on her kindle. First time for both. She really enjoyed it...Uh oh...!

The city is gorgeous. 



We went to a lot of coffee shops...





They take holidays seriously there were Halloween decorations and pumpkins everywhere. Neomi lived on Daddy’s shoulders. 



Sometimes we still used the backpack...Especially when she needed a nap. 





Neomi had a real bed for night time and loved it. She read, played and hung out in bed before and after sleep. 

We took the ferry across the river for some cheap views of the city. 



The funicular was fun. For Neomi and Daddy. Mommy, not so much...



The Marrin Centre was cool and had a neat kids’ section. 



It was cold, but Neomi didn’t seem to mind. 



She was a warrior princess at the Civilization Museum.

Our last night had snow! Perfect timing as Neomi was crying having just fallen leaving the nice restaurant (ironically named Boulay). Tears of sadness to tears of joy in about 1.5 seconds!
