We gave Neomi some books to take to bed tonight. She insisted on reading one as we left.
It’s tough to see (see below for pics with highlights!), but when we finally spied on Neomi tonight, we saw she fell asleep reading. The book was literally (h/t Juliet) on her face.
Adam went in to take it off. Of course she woke up. Stood up. Cried. And then settled back down relatively quickly to ‘read’ some in order to fall asleep.
Within two minutes she put the book down, on her lap this time, and went back to sleep. I don’t think Adam will go in to move it this time...!
