A Walk In the Hills

We tried to go on a hike this weekend. At first, there was doubt. We learned to road to the trailhead was closed 13 miles before the end. So we drove to Heather Meadows on Mt. Baker and made the best of it. We were not prepared for the snow at the higher elevation, but we had an amazing walk!

We started with lunch. Neomi is also getting ready to puke everywhere. Not the best start...

But she recovered!



We walked on the road. Notice the outfit change?



As we got higher, Neomi hopped on in the backpack and there was more snow. 



We made it to Artist Point. That’s Shucksan.
