Richmond

Yesterday was our last day with the big girls before school starts. We gave them four options for day trips. They picked Richmond, BC. We had a blast!!

We started in the fishing village of Steveston. They had boats on the docks selling fish.

There was an amazing playground. We played so much we forgot to take pictures. Except of Neomi playing with some rocks...trust us, slides, swings, obstacles and mini-water park!

We then went to the Aberdeen Mall, which had a very Asian focus. The food court was right out of Hong Kong or Singapore. Neomi loved roaming around. Her sisters enjoyed chasing her!

Watch out Neomi! Dinosaurs!

We had a very Canadian dinner. After, all 4 sisters were hanging out for a bit.

Then we went to the night market. So. Much. Traffic. It was about a mile from the restaurant. And an hour by car. And we weren't even close. When, the parking miracle of miracles occurred. I think we cashed in every ounce of parking karma we, as a family, have accrued. While idling in the street for about 25 minutes and moving 30 feet to get to the parking lot, someone approaches a car parked in the street right in front of us. Gold! They pulled out, we pulled in. I know you had to be there, but that parking spot will become part of our family lore!

The night market is, umm, crazy. So much going on. With the flashing lights, blaring music, an abundance of food stalls and the aromas,  It is truly sensory overload. We were there for just over an hour. Nyda and I could have sworn we were there for a day.

Glowing drinks.

Random dinosaurs scattered everywhere.

Happy kids make happy parents!

And one zonked out baby!!
