After work today we roamed outside in Skagit county. First we stopped off for a walk in the river delta. The sun was shining. And the birds. Holy cow, the birds. Eagles, herons and a huge flock of snow geese!

Neomi was in her element in the backpack. She really loves that thing!

 

 

We see this bald eagle most every time we visit here.

This is a long video, I know. But it's pretty cool. Hundreds of snow geese flew right over us. They were low enough we could hear the flutter of their wings. Nyda was right when she compared it to seeing a whale in the wild. It was pretty awesome. Neomi was watching the whole time too.

After that, we went up to the tulips. They are in bloom and gorgeous!
